To reduce the risk of ever losing your dive computer it is worth investing a new strap as and when the original starts to wear out and look a little frail!
Sometimes we find the used spring bars have not been well washed with freshwater and are a little corroded! A spring bar tool or very small flat blade screwdriver is used to withdraw the spring bar.
