Dive Torches

Diving Torches and Dive Lights are a really important piece of diving equipment not only for night diving but also for rummaging around on wrecks and under reefs and rocks. In the UK (in areas of lower visibility)we tend to always dive with a torch to get a better appreciation of the colours of the marine life.

Dive Torch technology has prgressed hugely in the past few years with the advent of LED toches the need for enormous power packs has been reduced so we now have small compact Dive Torches powered by realtively small batteries which makes dive torches far less bulky. When choosing your Diving Torch/Dive Light having a variable power output can be a real bonus so that divers are able to reduce the back scatter caused by particles in the water and too highly powered Dive Torches. Its also important to consider a wide or narrow beam, or focusable beam as well as pure output in Lumens and whether your Dive Torch is rechargeable or not.
